Our Story and How the Company Came to Be
The foundation of Woods Contracting was built over 20 years ago in the electrical trade. Our owner, Lanny Woods, started the business as an electrical company and became a master electrician through years of hands-on work in the field.
That electrical background shaped how the company operates today. It created a deep understanding of how homes function behind the walls and how critical proper planning, safety, and code compliance truly are.
As the business grew, so did the scope of work. Over time, we expanded into full general contracting, remodeling, additions, and custom residential construction.
